Santorini is extraordinary and it knows it. The whitewashed caldera villages of Oia and Fira, private villas perched above the Aegean, cliffside ceremonies at sunset with the sea four hundred feet below. The island sets the scene better than anywhere else in the Mediterranean. The photographer's job is to make sure it feels like yours.
I shoot weddings and elopements on Santorini with one priority above everything else: the couple in front of the place, not the place with a couple in it. The caldera backdrop is extraordinary. Your story is what makes the photo.
My approach in Santorini

I don't direct. I observe, anticipate, and disappear into the background until the light and the emotion align. Then I'm exactly where I need to be.
Santorini light is some of the most dramatic in the world. The Aegean sun hits the white stone and bounces back with an intensity that demands knowing exactly where to stand and when. The famous Oia sunset draws crowds but the real light lives in the thirty minutes after, when most photographers have already left. I stay. I know when the island shows its best side and I plan every timeline around that knowledge.
