Being named one of Rangefinder’s 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography is one of those moments I’ll carry with me for a long time.
Before I became a wedding photographer in New York, I spent years in advertising. Taking the leap into photography full-time was the best decision I’ve ever made, and one I’ve never questioned for a single day. Every couple I work with gets everything I have: full presence, genuine emotion, no shortcuts.
I don’t shoot for awards. I shoot to create images that feel true, cinematic, editorial, and deeply personal. That’s what makes recognition like this meaningful. It’s not just an industry accolade. It’s a reflection of the work, the vision, and the relationships built along the way.
None of this happens without the people behind it. My parents, whose encouragement never wavered. And my wife, none of this would exist without her.
To the Rangefinder jury, thank you. To the incredible nominees who weren’t selected this time, keep going. The work you love is always worth it.
And to my couples, and everyone who follows my work and keeps showing up, you are the reason any of this matters.
