Cozumel draws couples who want something intimate and unhurried. Barefoot ceremonies on private stretches of beach, elopements at sunrise before the island wakes up, receptions open to the sea breeze under a canopy of stars. The island is small enough to feel personal and beautiful enough to feel extraordinary.
I shoot here the way the place demands. Patient, observant, in tune with the light. The Caribbean sun is intense and the palette is extraordinary. I know when to move and when to simply let the island do the work.
My approach in Cozumel
Cinematic, unhurried,
always honest.
I don't direct. I observe, anticipate, and disappear into the background until the light and the emotion align. Then I'm exactly where I need to be.
Cozumel light is some of the most extraordinary I've worked with. The water reflects it in every direction. The early morning is cool and golden before the heat arrives. Sunset comes fast and turns everything amber. I plan every timeline around those windows so nothing gets wasted.
My work has been featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, The New York Times, Over The Moon, and Magnolia Rouge. I've been named one of Rangefinder's 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography.
