ABOUT LOS CABOS
Los Cabos is where the desert meets the sea.
Pacific on one side, Sea of Cortez on the other, and a landscape that makes every frame feel cinematic without trying.
Los Cabos delivers drama and warmth in equal measure. Cliffside villas above the Arch, sunset ceremonies on the beach at Palmilla, elopements at the tip of Baja where two oceans meet. I know this light well. It is some of the most consistent I have worked with anywhere.
I shoot across the full corridor, from San Jose del Cabo and the art district to Medano Beach and the private estates above Pedregal. Give me your venue and I will show you what it can do.

My approach in Los Cabos

Cinematic, unhurried,
always honest.
I don't direct. I observe, anticipate, and disappear into the background until the light and the emotion align. Then I'm exactly where I need to be.
Los Cabos has one of the most reliable golden hours I have worked with. The desert air keeps the light clean. The sun drops toward the Pacific fast and turns everything amber and deep. The Sea of Cortez side catches a completely different quality at the same hour. I plan every timeline around those two windows so the setting works for you without you having to think about it.
My work has been featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, The New York Times, Over The Moon, and Magnolia Rouge. I've been named one of Rangefinder's 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography.

"We got married at the tip of Baja and JL made it feel like the most cinematic thing we have ever done. He knew exactly when the light would hit the Arch. Every photo looks like it was planned and nothing was."
