Let's get this adventure started together!
Where should I begin? It’s not easy to transcript in a few words the emotional power that I have lived with Cari, Louw, and their families in South Africa. Beyond a “Destination wedding”, it’s the personality, the softness and the sincerity of Cari and Louw who woke my emotional side in only a few words. (When I hear a story like theirs my heart break and I can’t control my tears). The week spent with us reflects all the reasons why I do this job: participate in a unique human adventure, be in total immersion for a few days with the couple, the friends and family. I enjoy being more than an observer for only the d day. I like to feel part of the group like any other guest.
We spent the 2 first days in Louw’s farm which is 1h30 from Cape Town. It’s where I shot their engagement session as we couldn’t make it earlier (a 16 hour flight complicates this kind of stuff). For the rest of my journey I stayed at Cari’s parent vineyard, where the full wedding took place.
I don’t think it’s possible to find a bride cooler than Cari even though she had massive preparation work to do so that the day would be perfect. Thanks again to both of you for this incredible experience. You’ll always have a special place in my heart
