Instagram is, to me, the best way to meet new people around the globe. First virtually, and eventually in real life.
This is how I met Josie, thanks to a common friend, Rachel. Josie and her lover, Jordan, have been together for almost two years. They realized that they had almost no picture of them together (except for some selfies they take with their phones) and were determined to change that.
When we first talked about this photoshoot, we immediately matched. As human beings of course, but also as creative people. As they are both artists I like to believe that we understood each other better.
We agreed on capturing them in the intimacy of Josie’s studio in downtown Nashville,TN and then wander around the Percy Priest Lake for some outdoors shots.
That day the weather was overcast, which gives a natural light that I love. We knew it might rain but that didn’t stop us. And when it started raining it came down in buckets. And we had a lot of fun!
Come what may these two are authentic lovers.
